An experience between tradition and taste
During the morning of Tuesday 25th March, Rinati company had the pleasure to welcome the children of the first year of Lamporecchio primary school for a visit that combined fun, education and, of course, sweetness. An unique opportunity to make the little ones discover the world of the production of two typical delicacies of Rinati tradition: the Brigidini di Lamporecchio and the Nougat.
Discovering the history of Rinati and its products
The day began with a presentation that allowed children to learn about the history of Rinati, which for generations has been carrying on the tradition of producing the Brigidini di Lamporecchio and the Nougat. The children listened with great attention the story that links these typical sweets to the history of Lamporecchio and the passion that accompanies each stage of theproduction. Thanks also to the explanation of the ingredients, the little visitors learned how the quality of the raw materials, such as dried fruit, honey and anise, is fundamental for the creation of these delicacies.
A leap into the past: the machines and the ingredients
After the theory, it was time to see how the company works to make the Brigidini and the Nougat. The children were able to observe the old machines, witnesses of a past that continues to live in the hands of craftsmen. Each machine has its story, and the curious children discovered with enthusiasm how these tools works.
The decoration of the Brigidini: a creative activity for the children
The funniest part of the visit came when the children turned into skilled pastry chefs. They had the opportunity to decorate the Brigidini with delicious chocolate, personalizing each sweet to their liking. With a lot of creativity and steady hand, the little ones gave free rein to their imagination, creating true confectionery masterpieces.
A taste of tradition: Brigidini and Torroncini
At the end of the visit, they could not miss a taste of the products they had just discovered and decorated. The children had the opportunity to taste the Brigidini di Lamporecchio and the Torroncini, two sweets that embody the tradition and the authentic flavour of our land. They not only tasted, but they “sprinkled” the sweets with a smile, expressing their joy for the experience.
A special thanks to the primary school of Lamporecchio
A special thanks goes to the teachers and to the school for allowing children to live this unique experience, which has brought them closer to the world of artisanal production and the history of typical sweets. We are happy that this visit was not only educational, but also a fun and creative moment of sharing and growth.
We conclude with a big applause to the little explorers, who with their curiosity and enthusiasm gave us a smile and an unforgettable memory. We hope that this experience helps them to grow with the right love for tradition and for the typical products of our territory.
